Chester Mediation Fees
Each party to the mediation will pay £125 plus vat for each session, scheduled for 90 minutes. This includes paperwork. Payment is expected at the end of the session and may be made by cheque, debit or credit card [no additional charge].
The cost of preparing the final paperwork (open financial statement and memorandum of understanding) is £125.00 plus vat i.e. £150.00 each.
There are no hidden extras. Our charges include all photocopying, printing, letters, phone calls and administration charges.
Mediation and Information Assessment Meetings fees
Susan Alexander of Chester Mediation is approved by the Ministry of Justice to provide Mediation and Information Assessment Meetings and to sign the FM1 form which is needed to proceed with an application to the court. Our fees for a MIAMS meeting and provision of an FM1, if necessary, are £75 plus VAT (£90).
Legal Aid
With effect from 1st April 2013, we are able to offer publicly funded mediation services, subject to means.
